@@nonyabigness Prior to my electrolysis journey, when I use to wax/tweeze, I had to do weekly - i don’t want to do this. Electrolysis is permanent hair removal but because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), my chin area needs maintenance few times a year to treat NEW 5-10 hairs. I can leave those few hairs alone but it’s a personal choice to get them destroyed with electrolysis. Once a hair follicle is destroyed, it won't regrow, but new hairs may appear over time due to ongoing hormonal fluctuations due to my PCOS. If you don’t have a diagnosed hormonal imbalance, then you won’t ever need maintenance. I hope that makes sense.

@@rastaarjmand3140 Hi! How many minutes did you get done on the upper lip? Have you asked her for some advice? For numbness here are my tips: -use warm face cloth on the area to increase blood flow -gentle massage to force out excess fluid and allow healing

It is tempting but misleading and risky. Personally I don’t think it’s worth the risk of paradoxical hypertrichosis but the choice is yours!

@@Lisa-yj2hd Some people don’t scab badly but have a crust that forms over the follicle that was treated. This is part of how the skin heals to prevent bacteria going in. Similar to when we have a cut or wound it scabs over to heal. Do you get a crust that forms over? Is your hair thick or thin? What type of electrolysis are you having? Do you feel the hair pluck?

@itsmelisates I don't scab or crust at all and yes I do often feel the pluck

@itsmelisates I'm not sure which type but I hold a probe and it's a sterex machine if that helps to identify. My hair is both thick and thin, there are some signs of it getting thinner but still quite a lot of thick. Wish I could send pics on here 😕

@@jbee1116 I only use the pressed powder foundation sometimes and I think the formula feels the same. I haven’t used anything else from them for years so I’m not sure but you’ve made me want to try their other products to check now! ☺️

@@oumaimaboussouf202 Pimples can happen if bacteria has gotten into the area or the aftercare wasn’t followed properly. Sometimes it is inevitable with oily skin types. For example, i’m very prone to pimples on the top lip. Not sure why you’re getting ingrown hairs but exfoliating will help!

@@sophx7845 I had it every 2 weeks for around a year and then i felt like i was able to spread them more apart. Yeah that’s expected and very normal there’s no getting away from that. I had the same experience. Towards the end of my journey, when my sessions were really spread apart, that’s when the PIH really started to clear up. It was all worth it in the end ☺️

There is no way of knowing how many sessions it will take. You need to grow it for around 3-5 days so it's long enough to grab with tweezers but it's best to check with your practitioner incase they prefer different :)

Thermolysis :)

I prefer thermolysis. Galvanic is really slow and is for someone who is extremely prone to pigmentation :)

@@kjansari7612 Hi what kind of patches are they? If it is hyperpigmentation, then it’s normal and part of the healing process. Thank you I’ve always had a good skin care routine so my skim healed very well. For darker marks, there are a few things you can include to help these fade quicker. You can choose out of vitamin c serum, retinol, ahas or niacinamide. Try one of these and see how it goes!

@@glamouranna Really! I had a bad experience with their chrome palettes when applied all over (for isolated chrome they are great). So I have been reluctant in ordering other nail art bits from them. Do the pigment quads last ok when applied to tips too?

@ Ive not tried their chrome palettes so can’t comment on them but everything Ive had from nails luxe has been great!
